Modi Unhappy over Temple in his Name

We have already reported that some of BJP supporters have built a temple for Narendra Modi in Rajkot and placed Modi's idol in it. They are planning to inaugurate the temple on this Sunday.But Modi was not pleased with act of his fans and he was reportedly upset with the news. Modi urged his followers to utilize the resources for the betterment of the country.
The PM took his social networking handle to express his anger and he said that the act of building a temple in his name was against India's traditions and he is upset about it.
He tweeted,
‘’Have seen the news about a Temple being built in my name. I was appalled. This is shocking & against India's great traditions.’’
‘’Building such Temples is not what our culture teaches us. Personally, it made me very sad. Would urge those doing it not to do it.’’
‘’If you have time & resources, please devote the same towards fulfilling our dream of a Clean India.’’
Modi is not the first politician with a temple built in his name. Few months back a temple was constructed in Karimnagar in the name of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
