Muhurtham fixed for NaMo swearing in ceremony

After electing Modi as parliamentary leader in central hall NDA leaders met President Pranab Mukherjee and requested him to invite Narendra Modi to take oath as the next prime minister of the country on May 26.
President of India, Pranab Mukherjee will be administering oath by Modi. In the past, only two prime ministers, A B Vajpayee and Chandrashekhar, were sworn in at the Rashtrapati Bhawan forecourt.

"I came to call on the President. The President has given me a formal letter (of appointment as the PM) and has invited me for oath-taking ceremony on May 26 at 6pm as we had earlier decided," Modi told reporters after meeting with President Pranab Mukherjee. Modi displayed the President's letter appointing him to the top post.
BJP will begin sending invitations to celebrities and NDA allies across the country for the ceremony who directly or indirectly helped BJP win.
