Murali Mohan's statement on Cockfights triggers controversy!

Cockfights are famous in Pongal season. Even though government imposed ban and asked Police officials to take severe action on the cockfights, they are still on progress. Few hundreds of Crores will be involved in these fights and high profile politicians too will be involved in these games.
Recently, Murali Mohan came up with a statement that few of the ministers along with him decided to ask Chandra Babu to make cockfights official. He stated that cockfights are a symbol of tradition and people have been following it from ages. In the society where western culture is on peaks, Murali Mohan felt that cockfights will make people feel the essence of our traditional culture.
On the other hand, few organisations are fighting against cockfights saying that it is not correct to play with the lives of innocent creatures on the name of entertainment. As government too is favor of these organization, Murali Mohan's statement on cockfights may turn too controversial in South India.
