My son forced me to do charity: Mahesh Babu
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Nov 2013 10:59 AM GMTBeing a shy person and we hardly find Mahesh in public gatherings and till now we didn’t heard about any of the charity works that has launched by Mahesh. Many said that Mahesh used to maintain low-profile on his works and recently he lent his name to a cause that fights rape and discrimination against women
But For the first time ever Tollywood prince Mahesh babu has spoken out about his charity work as well as becoming brand ambassadors of an NGO. Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata have come together to help ill underprivileged children. They became brand ambassadors of a city-based NGO that gives medical aid to critically ill children.
When asked what prompted them to take up the cause, Mahesh says, "My kids are my world and all parents feel the same. Ever since my son Gautam was born premature, it changed me because we spent a lot of anxious moments. So I understand what parents go through. I have a special place in my heart for kids who are critically ill and can be saved by timely medical intervention."
Namrata on the other hand feels that they do not need a reason for doing this work or supporting this cause. She feels that since she is in a position to provide help to some underprivileged children, she will do her best to give back to the society.
