Akkineni Nagarjuna met BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in Gujarat on Monday. Despite not keen on entering Politics, Why did the Tolywood star went all the way to Gandhinagar for the meeting. Guess, what's the reason?
We knew Nagarjuna does nothing without a specific reason and there is a secret agenda behind his meet with Modi.
Apparently, Nag visited the model village Punsari to have a look at the development during Modi's regime. He came to know that the vilage which has a population of 6,00o has got Wifi enabled with monthly charge of Rs 10 from users, 24-hour power supply, 5 schools, primary health centre, cement-concrete roads, public address system and drinking water provided through pipelines to the houses.
Actually, Nagarjuna has the idea of replicating the same development model in his native village Ramapuram in Krishna district. This is said to be the dream of late Akkineni Nageswara Rao who passed away recently. Even Modi offered technical help to Nag in making Ramapuram a Model Village.
