Naidu's wish: New capital on par with Hyd
By: Tupaki Desk | 31 July 2013 5:21 PM GMTTDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday asked the centre to develop a new capital in Andhra Pradesh on par with Hyderabad - Infrastructure, educational institutions, international airport, convention centers, IT companies and many more. He urged the centre to allocate Rs 4 to 5 crore lakh to develop a new city and advised it to ensure the funds were listed out in the bill it plans to table in Parliament.
Naidu opined that it's not a big deal if Telugu speaking people were in two states, until an unless they remain united. He reminded about TDP sending the letter to centre in 2008 favoring separate Telangana state and accused Congress of playing with the emotions of people for political gains. He said Telangana statement made by Congress lacked clarity.
Finally, Chandrababu urged centre to do justice for both the states. He, however, refused to react on the protests of TDP in Seemandhra region.
