American space research institute NASA had issued warning on HUDHUD cyclone. As Cyclone Hudhud is inching closer toward Vizag coast, massive evacuation has begun and holidays have been declared for schools and colleges. Though state governments took required measures but NASA issued latest warnings creating tensions in the region.

The Atmospheric Infrared Sounder or AIRS instrument that flies aboard NASA's Aqua satellite notified that the temperatures in the clouds near -63F/-53C. It warned that these indicators may be a notification for severe impact in the region. Tropical cyclone Hudhud reached 100 knots (185 kmph) before landfall near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh as per the latest reports.
