Nimmagadda Prasad, also known as Matrix Prasad, used to be an highly influential Industrialist during former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy's tenure. CBI alleges the Nimmagadda's VANPIC deal is a huge scam and named him as accused in Jagan's disproportionate assets case. He accompanied Jagan to Chanchalguda jail and spent 17 months as a VIP Prisoner before releasing on bail.
Now, the trouble began in Nimmagadda Prasad's personal life. He and his second wife Asha have been seeking divorce with mutual consent in a family court.
Earlier, Nimmagadda got divorced from first wife Aruna. Later, He married Asha Bharadwaj but they are heading towards split due to disturbances in family life.
Post selling off his share in Matrix Pharmaceutical Company, Nimmagadda invested in several fields including entertainment. He is now one of the directors of MAA TV Network along with Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi.
