By: Tupaki Desk | 10 April 2013 9:58 AM GMTActress Revathi who has filed a petition seeking divorce from her husband Suresh Menon few months ago is going to get the desired outcome the soon. The Family Court in Chennai will be passing the final verdict of this divorce case on April 22nd.
Revathi married Cinematographer-turned-Director Suresh Menon in the year 1988. Though they were just like another other happy couple in the initial years, difference propped up between the duo later and the fact that they weren't blessed with any child deteriorated the situation.
In October 2012, Both Revathi and Suresh filed separate petitions with the court seeking mutual divorce. After couple of hearings (on March 31st and April 6th this year), Justice Raja Chokkalingam declared that the final judgement will be announced on April 22nd.
Revathi acted in over 150 films that include all the South Indian languages and Hindi as well. She won several awards for her flawless acting prowess and even turned into director with the film 'Mitr, My Friend' (2002) which won her National Award for Best Regional Film (English). It's really sad to hear the divorce news of this multi-talented film personality. Wish her a bright future!
