Notification issued for elections in SA!!

The Election Commission released the notification of second phase elections in Andhra Pradesh a short while ago. Seemadhra region will go to polls in this phase. 25 Lok Sabha and 175 assembly constituencies will be released and nominations can be submitted till 19th April.
The nominations will be scrutinized on April 21 and withdrawals of the same will be allowed till April 23. Counting will begin on May 16.
Voter slips that contain the details of voters, polling booth number and address will be sent to every house from 15 th April. Seemandhra region has 175 Assembly Constituencies and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies and the elections will be held on May 7.
April 12th – Election Notification
April 19th – Last date for Nominations
April 21st – Nominations Verfication
April 23rd – Last date for Nominations Withdrawal
May 7th – Polling date
Counting in both the region will take place on May 16th along with all the states in the nation and the results will be announced on the same day. After June 2nd, the appointed day of Telangana state formation, the elected representatives will belong to the respective states.
