Only 4 People in Theatre for Telugu Classic

On the occasion of 100 Years of Indian Cinema, Legendary director K Viswanath who is man behind Sankarabharanam revealed the hardships he has undergone to make this masterpiece.
K Viswanath thought of making a film on traditions, music and dance. That how Sankarabharanam happened! When the film was ready for release, there were no buyers. Every distributor including Kamal's brother Charu Haasan fell in love with film, but none of them dared to buy the rights saying it's not commercially viable. Finally, the film released through Lakshmi Films.
For morning show in Royal Theatre, only four people turned and Viswanath lost all the hopes. Much to his surprise, the theatre was houseful for First Show and the dream run began. Sankarabharanam one of those films that highlighted the importance of good word-of-mouth. The film will remain a classic for ever!
