Panty-less Babe asks 'What's wrong in Item Songs?'
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 March 2013 5:55 PM GMTCensor Board's move to award an 'A' rating for item songs based on it's lyrics and picturizations hasn't gone down well with the people belonging to the Film Industry.
Item girl Yana Gupta ('Akalesthe Annam Pedatha, Babuji Zaraa Dheere Chao fame) who became more popular for her panty-less act is finding fault with the new Censor guidelines that has come into effect. The hottie questions what's wrong in item songs when the audience enjoy watching them and what is the need for imposing an 'A' rating on them. "Filmmakers will voluntarily stop making them the day when people stop watching them," she points out.
Film observers say, Filmmakers willn't take the risk of 'A' rating by including item numbers as they don't want families and children to boycott watching their product. As a result, the number of item songs made in all the Industries will come down drastically.
On the other hand, Filmmakers were complaining that off late Censor Board has become unpredictable. They even question why can't the government impose censorship to internet, music, literature, television rather than targeting Film Industry alone.
