TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao who would be soon sworn in as chief minister of Telangana has got the most expensive SUV - Toyota Land Cruiser Prados at a cost of Rs 4 crore. These vehicles even have the bullet proof facility.
In fact, Former Chief Minister included two Toyota Land Cruiser Prados in his convoy in October 2013. The new CMs of Seemandhra and Telangana will get one of these luxury vehicles each.
KCR's convoy consists of one Toyota Land Cruiser Prados and three Toyota Fortuner 500 vehicles. A jammer is also provided in a Scorpio.
The registration number of these vehicles used to 1818 during Kiran Kumar Reddy's tenure as CM. Now, the number has been changed to AP09K6666 by CM's security staff as per the instructions of KCR.
Usually, CM's security staff doesn't approach the RTA for registration. Instead, they themselves change the numbers based on the lucky numbers of Chief Ministers.
