Puri hits back at audience in style

It's an undeniable fact that Film Buffs haven't been completely satisfied with the final outcome of Allu Arjun's stylish romantic entertainer 'Iddarammayilatho', especially the second half. While many opined that there is a bit of lag in it, some pointed out less entertainment quotient.
Puri Jagannath responded to the criticism in his style. "Telugu audience usually like a film as long as it has no story to narrate. When the actual story begins in Iddarammayilatho post interval, they get bored and complain about it," opined the filmmaker.
On the stupendous Box Office collections of Iddarammayilatho despite mixed reviews, Puri commented that even James Cameron's Avatar couldn't escape criticism but that movie was a massive hit.
Puri has projects with Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Prabhas in the pipeline. He will also be remaking Telugu hits 'Idiot' and 'Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi' in Bollywood.
