The execution of celebrated revolutionist Bhagat Singh happened on March 23rd, 1931. On the 84th martyrdom anniversary of the great freedom fighter, Take a look at the picture of the death warrant issued by then Superintendent of the Central Jail (Lahore) and the signature by the president of the tribunal.
Bhagat Singh was involved in the bomb blast inside the Central Assembly hall in New Delhi on April 8, 1929 that happened in protest against the British rule. Bhagat Singh also killed British Superintendent of Police Saunders on December 17, 1928. As a result, Mr. Singh was awarded the death sentence by the British a day earlier than the scheduled hanging in Lahore's Central Jail.
