Real difference between a hero and a heroine
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Jun 2013 1:30 PM GMTIndian film industry gives equal priority for a hero and a heroine. Hero takes care of entertaining audience with fights and dance movements while the heroine tries to spell bound spectators with her glamour. Both hero and heroine strive hard to induce the feeling of love in audience.
With the increase in age, a hero’s popularity goes on decreasing. Young and dynamic heroes occupy their positions in the industry. Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and Balakrishna are top heroes in Tollywood at a point of time. They literally minted huge remunerations for the yesteryear films. But now, their remuneration is less than half of the rate of Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan.
This is not the case with respect to heroine. Anushka, Trisha and Nayantara can be considered as veterans with respect to the role of film heroine. They are on the edge of their heroine career. Even then, Anushka topped Tollywood with 2 Crores remuneration. She is the leading lady in this aspect. Nayantara and Trisha holds the top places in Kollywood with respect to remuneration. With experience, a hero loses his demand while a heroine doubles it. This rule applies only for Tollywood!
