Reason behind increasing suicides in Hyderabad

Hyderabad is becoming a hub for suicide cases. Few days back, we heard that an employee from Oracle committed suicide by jumping from the office building. Recently, a software engineer from Infosys attempted suicide and left this world.
Few other suicide cases were registered in the Police Station and majority of them are software employees. ‘Why software employee who is earning high tends to commit suicide?’ is the issue under discussion. A person gives preference to work-life-balance. If this aspect gets damaged, he/she will not feel satisfied even if they are tempted with hefty package.
Seeing the lump sum package, techies are moving towards bigger companies and after getting into the job they are buying flats and houses believing that they can clear that amount in few months span with the current salaries. But, the work pressure and the work – life – balance is not co-operating with the employee and hence he is ending up his life in depression. Hope these suicide cases end up in software field.
