Reasons behind Hansika refusing Hello Brother

The plans of remake to the 1994 Telugu hit Hello Brother has taken a backseat as Hansika refused to sign the film.
According to the sources, Director Srinivas Reddy approached Hansika with the role done by Ramya Krishna in the original. After the narration, the actress came up with few conditions like 25 percent extra pay package and equal footage with other female lead Tamanna. In the original, Nag pats on the butt of Ramya Krishna every time she takes a bend. The extra remuneration is because of these scenes in the remake. As the producers weren't ready to pay her the extra package, Hansika turned down the offer citing date issues.
Naga Chaitanya gets into the shoes of his father for the first time. Tamanna is reprising the role of Soundarya. She will be seen as the innocent and girl-next-door girl in this movie. D Siva Prasad Reddy is producing the remake.
