Renuka Choudhary takes Bribe, Case booked!

A case under SC/ST Atrocities Act has been booked against former Union Minister Renuka Choudhary following allegations of taking bribe to the tune of Rs 1.10 crore by promising an Assembly ticket to a local leader in Khammam during 2014 General Elections.
B Kalavati, the complainant, approached Hyderabad High Court stating Renuka Choudhary took money from her husband Ramji for Congress party ticket of Wyra Assembly segment. She alleged that Renuka has abused her by caste when her husband sought return of the money.
Notably, Ramji is no more alive.
High Court directed Khammam Police to book an SC/ST Case against Renuka Chaudhary. Khammam circle inspector Sridhar confirms booking a case under various sections.
Renuka Chaudhary, however, claims the allegations were baseless and politically motivated. The Former MP went on to say she never met Renuka in her life and such unfortunate things happen only in Politics.
