RGV wrong comparisons about Chennai express
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 Aug 2013 5:21 AM GMT Once gain RGV tongue delivered comments with some foolish comparison which was not at all related.today RGV commented about Chennai express and compared the movie with all-time classics of Bollywood.
RGV watched the movie five times and trying to promote the movie as his own production. He claimed the movie as milestone in shahrukh career and started comparisions with the all-time Bollywood classicals Mughal-e-Azum and Sholay. He also getting ready to touch the feet of Rohit Shetty who directed the movie.
"Congrats to Rohit Shetty for dumping 'Mughal-e-Azam', 'Sholay', DDLJ ('Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'), '3 Idiots', etc by the tracks and speeding Indian cinema ahead on 'Chennai Express'. Like the proof of the pudding is in eating, the greatness of cinema is in its success and by that yardstick, 'Chennai Express' is the greatest film," Varma posted on Twitter.
Critics mentioned that RGV was gone completely mad and started comparing ' Chennai Express" with all time classics like 'Mughal-E-Azam","Sholay","DDLJ ".
Even though it turned as highest grosser in Bollywood , It was panned by critics because of its old type treatment. RGV should realize that Chennai Express is just an out and out time pass film with some good photography and comedy. Earning 200 crores is not the ultimate achievement. It should remain in one's memory for long.
