RTC Bus falls into Godavari River: 2 Killed, 30 Injured!

An APSRTC Bus fell off the bridge into Godavari river after losing balance near Bhadrachalam in Khammam district. In this accident, 2 Persons were killed and 30 Others sustained injuries.
The incident happened when RTC Ramabhanam Bus (No. AP 20 3940) has been on its way to Bhadrachalam from Khammam.
Sources say, High-Speed with which Driver has run the bus is said to be the major reason behind the accident. Nearly 40 people were in the bus at the time of accident. Locals have rescued some of the passengers who have fallen in the river.
The injured have been rushed to Bhadrachalam Area Hospital. Both the deceased were women. Rescue operations are in full swing. More details are awaited.
