Cash for vote: Another TDP MLA arrested

ACB officials had made a swift move in cash for vote scam. As expected ACB officials arrested TDP Leader Venkata Veeraiah. Satthupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) .He was arrested after the questioning in connection with the scam. He is the second TDP MLA to be arrested in the case. Another MLA, Revanth Reddy, was arrested and released on bail recently.
Earlier, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah was questioned at the Anti-Corruption Bureau office. ACB served notice to MLA under section 41 (A) CrPC recently. ACB had served him a notice earlier too under section 160 of Criminal Procedure Code but the MLA had sought time to appear before the agency citing ill-health as the reason.
