Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis were unstoppable in their first tourney together. This pair defeated Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in consecutive sets (6-3, 6-4) to bag the BNP Paribas Open women's doubles title.
After an easy win in the First Set, Sania and Hingis was trailing 2-4 at one point in the Second Set. From there onwards, They didn't lose a single point and won the title by winning the set with 6-4.
Post the victory, Sania Mirza posted the picture of she alsong with Hingis lifting the trophy and wrote, 'Championssss at the BNP Paribas Open. What a day'.
Since the moment she was appointed as Telangana Brand Ambassador, Sania MIrza is going through a dream phase in her career. Good for her and the 29th State of India!
