Sania participated in Swachha Bharat campaign

Joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to rid the country of litter and rubbish, Famous tennis player Sania Mirza today picked up the broom to clean Prashasan Nagar in Hyderabad.Sania actively participated in cleaning campaign and knowing about Sania arrival people thronged to the area to have glimpse of her.

Sania accepted challenge of Anil Ambani and she inturn invited Telangaan IT minister KTR;Badminton Player PV Sindhu and shooter Abhinav Bindra to join the initiative.Sania said that it was an honour and a privilege to be a part of the Swachh Bharat campaign.

The campaign was launched on Oct 2 and has recevied a good response from the entire country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi after launching the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan had roped in celebrities from across the country including cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, industrialist Anil Ambani and several actors to spread awareness on cleanliness and make it a people's movement.

Mr Modi had named nine celebrities, including film stars Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra to take the initiative forward.
