School girl raped by man in Rajahmundry

7-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a middle aged man in East Godavari district. The incident happened at Nagaram village of Mamidikuduru mandal and the accused was 45 years old Gidugu raju and he lured the girl on pretext of giving chocolates and raped her.
The girl is studying in Standard II in a private school and her parents were daily wage workers.Raju who was living near to the school, allegedly raped the girl for over a week by enticing her with chocolates.
The survivor who managed to escape from the 45-year-old clutches, narrated her ordeal to her parents, who further reported the matter at police station.The accused was severely beaten by locals before handing him over to cops.
The girl will be undergoing medical tests and further investigations are on, police added.
