As part of scheduled meeting with central home ministry by two states CS has discussed on various issues. Related to PPA's in electricity Home department has confirmed that PPA's are valid only if it had prior permission of ERC. Due to this Telangana government will loss 50 percent of the power which its currently getting.
In related to water issues Telangana CS asked Home Ministry about setting tribunal at earliest but the ministry requested to allocate the officers to this board to discuss this issue further.
Telangana government requested to discuss on the Governer responsibilities but Home ministry rejected this request and concluded which will not come under their area. Electricity is one of the major problem for Telangana where it had limited resources for generation has strongly objecting the cancellation of PPA's. Sources disclosed that T-government thinking to take up this issue towards legal battle.
