Shakti Mills Gangrape case: 3 Convicts to be Hanged!

The Mumbai sessions court awarded death penalty to the three convicts in connection with the photojournalist ganagrape case.

Death sentence was given under the new (Amended) Section 376 (e) of the Indian Penal Code. Actually, 4 Men have been found guilty in two gangrape cases. While 3 of them received Death Penalty, the 4th guy gets Life Imprisonment.

Vijay Jadhav (19), Kasim Shaikh (21) and Mohammed Salim Ansari (28) will be hanged to death. Cases were booked against them under sections of criminal conspiracy, unnatural sex, criminal intimidation, making video of the offence, wrongful restraint and destruction of evidence. While delivering the judgement, The Judge opined these people were a menace to the society.
