Shocking Robbery in Navjeevan express

According to media reports a shocking Robbery took place in Navjeevan express which is bound to Chennai from Ahmedabad.According to sources a gang of around 30 robbers pulled the alarmed chain near Sirpur Kagaznagar and robbed money, Jewellery, bags, cell phones from passengers in four bogies - A1, B1, S1, S6. Robbers threatened the passengers with knives and looted them.

The passengers lodged a complaint against this incident once the train reached Vijaywada.Maharashtra BJP cadre woman president Smitha Vaghe was one of the victim in the robbery.The victims lodged a complaint and said that the security personnel on the train failed to react quickly. The robbers approximately robbed 3 lakh rupees from the passengers.

Robbery in the train continues as the security is out of gear. Railway passengers are worried over the increasing train robberies .The security of the people has become a high concern as the railway administration is still in sleeping mode. Thieves are taking the advantage of it and dare to loot the railway passengers in number of trains passing through the state of Andhra Pradesh.
