State Of Telangana Declared
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 July 2013 1:54 PM GMTAfter lot of tense moments since morning and during the ongoing Congress Working Committee meeting, Congress party official spokesperson has finally announced that they have decided to grant separate ‘State of Telangana’ in accordance with the constitution of India. Also Congress decalred that Hyderabad will be acting as joint capital for a period of 10 years until the State of Andhra Pradesh will form its own capital.
Constituting 10 districts of Telangana region, Congress party has finally decided to carve a new 29th state, ‘State Of Telangana’ in accordance with the constitution of India. After beating brains for more than an hour, Congress Working Committee has finally decided to separate Andhra Pradesh into two states and announced the same through its spokespersons.
Congress official spokesperson Ajay Maken announced that the Central Government will take steps to form separate Telangana state and will create a mechanism to sort out matters related to sharing of water, electricity and ensuring safety of Andhra People living in T region. Until a new capital is built for State Of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad will be acting as a joint capital for the next 10 years. Saying that the decision was not an easy one, AICC in-charge of state Digvijay felt that Congress has held widest consultations in granting this state. Congress will put this decision in Union Cabinet tomorrow and will send it for approval of President of India later. And after President’s approval, a bill will be placed in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha which will come into effect after approval with majority.
Celebrations have already begun in Telangana region and we have to see how Seemandhra leaders are going to do now, and what their course of action will be.
