According to reports Hero Sumanth, grandson of late Akkineni Nageswara Rao, will now be the heir to ANR's major property on Banjara Hills.
It was buzzed that ANR had a house on Road no.1, Banjara hills. The property was later converted into a commercial establishment. Now after ANR’s demise the truth is that it is indeed Sumanth’s property
Sumanth is the only son of Surendra Yarlagadda and the late Satyavathi Akkineni. A few months after his birth, his parents returned to the US where they were residing. Sumanth, however, remained in India on the request of his grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. He was subsequently adopted by his grandfather and his grandmother
ANR was extremely fond of both Sumanth and his Supriya, who are the children of his late daughter Satyavati. Sumanth is also partner in Annapurna Studios that was established in 1975 by his grandfather.
