Supreme Court Accepts but AP Police Denies

The BJP leader Raghurama Krishnam Raju approached apex court after high court put ban on cock fights which generally performed during Sankranthi eve.
After detailed arguments and analysis the apex court urged police to maintain same status as its festive related activity. Its also suggested police to maintain transparency in these activities by controlling any betting or illegal activities. On the other side Andhra Pradesh police welcomed court decision and said the orders really not lifted ban on cock fights. They added to maintain court orders in allowing the traditional activities with in boundaries of law.
