TCS May Axe 25,000 Employees; 2,000 in Hyderabad alone
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Dec 2014 6:21 PM GMTIn a major performance based workforce restructuring movie, India’s software giant TCS is getting ready to lay off more than 25,000 employees, say reports. According to info, consultants and mid-level managers are the primary ones to get axed by the company based on their performance done in the last couple of years. From Hyderabad facility alone, the company may lay off around 2000 employees. Though TCS continues to be a leading recruiter of IT talents across the globe, this cutting-off is raising eyebrows as some of the employees who are being shown doors are getting ready to seek legal support. However, TCS claimed that they are axing only non-performers and pledged to encourage talents.
