TDP to lead in Local Body Elections!

Elaborate arrangements have been made for the counting of votes and declaration of results of municipal elections across Andhra Pradesh on Monday.Counting for municipal elections will be held on 12th May while MPTC and ZPTCs counting will be held on 13th of this month.
According to sources TDP is likely to lead in local body polls both in municipalities and ZPTCs and YSR CP is gossiped to be getting second place in these elections.
Of 19 Municipal corporations, as many as 10 went to polls last month. Polling was held for 513 wards across the State. Similarly, of 162 municipalities in the State, polling was held in 145 municipalities. While polling was held in 3,391 wards, the candidates were unanimously elected in 39 other wards.
The much-delayed MPTC and ZPTC elections and Muncipal were held ahead of general elections (in April), but the counting would be taken up this week owing to legal issues.
The authorities have set up as many as 155 centres at 65 different locations for counting of votes.The counting personnel have already undergone training to perform the counting procedure.All are eagerly waiting for results as these are considered as pre-finals for Assembly results which held recently
