Telangana municipal winners

Nearly three months after polls were conducted to 10 municipal corporations and 145 municipalities, the AP State Election Commission recently issued orders for indirect election for the posts of mayor, deputy mayors, chairpersons and deputy chairpersons,

Today Elections are being conducted for the posts of mayors in three corporations and chairpersons in 52 municipalities on Telangana.As usual the ruling TRS showed its domination.TRS bagged all the Muncipal Corporations in the state. TRS won all corporations (Karimnagar, Ramagundam and Nizambad)

52 Municipalities have gone for the elections and out of them, 49 Municipalities result is out. TRS won 22 muncipalities and Congress followed it in the second place .TDP bagged 4 and BJP won only one. MIM also opened their account with one municipality. The election of Chairman for Nalgonda and Suryapeta is postponed. Suspense continued in Mahabubabad Municipality.
