Telugu couple arrested for killing techie daughter

The parents of a 26-year-old woman software engineer, who allegedly killed their daughter barely two days after she married a man from another community against their wishes, were today arrested in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur district, police said.
According to police sources parents of Victim deepthi ,P. Hari Babu and Samrajyam, who were absconding since Sunday, were arrested by the police in Guntur.
Deepthi, who was working at an IT firm here since 2010, was in love with her colleague Kiran Kumar. However, her parents were against the affair, police had earlier said. But, the two went ahead and got married on March 21 at the Arya Samaj temple here
Later Deepthi’s parents convinced her and took back to home.Within few hours Deepthi was found murdered and her husband Kiran filed police complaint by suspecting Deepthi’s parents. They made Kiran and his friends stay in a hotel and took their daughter home, where they executed the murder plan.
They strangulated P Deepthi at the family's house in Guntur yesterday and were absconding since the offence,Both of them confessed to the crime, Police said
