Telugu Film recommended for Oscar

Telugu Film Producers Council has informed to the producers of Midhunam that their film has been nominated in Best Foreign Language Film Award category for the prestigious Oscar Award (2012).
Midhunam is based on the one of best selling Telugu novel of the same name. It was written by renowned writer Sri Ramana. The film stars SP Balasubramanyam and Lakshmi in the lead roles. It was appreciated for the genuine efforts of the entire team
to deliver a heart-touching film.
