ISS which is placed at 400 km from earth could cover the globe in 92.74 minutes. These reports were confirmed by NASA.
Astronauts wished each other every time they got the opportunity to celebrate New Year. They even had fruit juices and toasts!
Commander Barry Butch Wilmore and his crew spent New Year eve doing a lot of experiments, something like changes in human eye while being on spaceflights for long durations. They also began preparations for the arrival of the next cargo supply ship.
