The Income Tax department has prepared the list of Top 10 I-T assessees in the country in Individual category for 2011-12. The details have been made public by the IT Department in response to the Right to Information (RTI) query. Here is the list

1) ONGC; 2) SBI; 3)National Stock Exchange of India; 4) Reliance Industries; 5) Life Insurance Corporation of India; 6) Piramal Enterprises Limited; 7) NMDC Limited; 8) Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited; 9) NTPC Limited; 10) Tata Steel Limited.
