TRS ministers & Portfolios
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Jun 2014 10:33 AM GMT Telangna crusader KCR scripted history on Monday morning when he took oath of office and secracy as the first chief minister of newly formed Telangana state.
Amid state-wide celebrations that began hours before the mid-night of Sunday, KCR was sworn in at an impressive function in Raj Bhavan. Along with him 11 cabinet ministers too were sworn in.
Team KCR was a mix of young and old, experienced and the inexperienced people. Telangana's first cabinet has three members of K Chandrasekhar Rao's family and surprisingly comprises of no women.Another key factor is denial of ministerial berths to any of the employees leaders, who were the vanguard of the T movement. Srinivas Goud and Swami Goud could not get accommodation.
Many thought either Konda Surekha or Padma Devender Goud is sure to get a cabinet minister but KCR not considered them. However, Telangana Rashta Samiti party sources say KCR may expand his cabinet in the next 5-6 days and he will surely make justice to the ignored sections.
TRS Ministers & Portfolios:
1) Mohammed Mahmood Ali - Deputy CM & Revenue Minister
2) T.Rajaiah - Deputy CM & Health Minister
3) Nayani Narasimha Reddy - Home Minister
4) Eetela Rajendar - Finance Minister
5) Harish Rao - Irrigation & Electricity Minister
6) K Tarakarama Rao - Information Technology Minister
