Indian tennis star Sania Mirza who recently appointed as Telangana brand ambassador by Chief Mianister KCR has gets another rare honor.Sania was now appointed as UNO good will ambassador for women empowerment
United Nations Organization appointed the Tennis Player Sania Mirza as its Brand Ambassador on Tuesday and her appointment was meant to fight against violence agasint women in South Asian nations.In her new responsibility, she would help raise awareness on violence against women.
She shared this information through tweeter to her fans saying “Very exciting news to share this afternoon… Stay tuned.”Later in a series of tweets, the tennis star revealed “Honored to be the UN good will ambassador for women empowerment and to fight for violence against women.”
Speaking to the media after knowing her nomination the Hyderabadi tennis star said she would perform her responsibilities accorded by the United Nations, at here level best.
Seems 2014 was turned very favor to Sania and she had a dream run in her career this year. She was named as brand ambassador of newly formed Telangana state and She won every major title she participated and also improved her WTA ranking.Now she got the rare honor and in her new role she will rub shoulders with great people.
