Centre advises states to ban web based cab services

It suggested state government to review licenses of private online cab booking service providers and urged to setup strict guidelines making GPS as mandatory.
Last week uber can driver who raped a passenger created outrage in Delhi city. The incident which similar to Nirbhaya started causing issues to central government. To mitigate that impact it given strict orders to the states now. With latest decision of central government almost 50 percent of cabs service providers will be impacted. Especially ola, taxi for sure and uber. All these cabs have no Peoper license till the moment.
