Valentine's Day is now Matru-Pitru Diwas

Chattisgarh Government has issued orders to all the schools to observe February 14th (Valentine's Day) as Matru-Pitru Diwas (Parents Worship Day). So, Government Schools have no other option but to follow these orders every year.

On Matru-Pitru Diwas, Parents will be invited to the Schools where they will be garlanded by their children, perform aarti and offer sweets.

Few days ago, Hindu Mahasabha has given a call to the youth of the country to celebrate Mata Pita Pujan Diwas on Valentine's Day.

Inspired by the call of Hindu Mahasabha, Chattisgarh Government served official orders to make Matru-Pitru Diwas a reality.
