VH warns Chandrababu Naidu over RGIA
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 May 2014 4:27 AM GMTCongress leaders have started opposing Telugu Desam president, N. Chandrababu Naidu's plan of renaming of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport into NTR International Airport.Addressing the party's Mahanadu at Gandipet, Naidu announced that he would strive hard to rename the Shamshabad Airport after late NTR.During his speech, Naidu claimed that it was the TDP Government that brought Hyderabad on the global map.
Now congress leaders started criticizing Babu Decision and asked him to keep away from such cheap antics.Hanumantha Rao, a Rajya Sabha member of Congress Party, has warned Chandrababu Naidu that they would not keep calm, if the name of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) was changed. He addressed the media and asked Naidu to not play with their feelings.
Another senior Congress leader and former PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana also found fault with Naidu's ambition of changing the name. If that is the case very five years airports' names have to be changed, he said.
Since TDP's leader Ashok Gajapathi Raju is now that Union Civil Aviation Minister, these reports have got some base. We need to wait and see whether the airport will be renamed or not.
