Virender Sehwag denies contesting elections

Yester media circles was abuzz with the speculations about Delhi Cricketer Virender Sehwag’s Political entry .Some reports had claimed that Sehwag may contest the General Elections on a Congress ticket from the South Delhi constituency.
The reports said Sehwag has also showed interest in the Congress’ proposal when the leaders approached him with the MP ticket.The flamboyant opener, out of the Indian cricket team for almost two years now and people start believed that Sehwag might open political innings
But the dashing opener quick to react on the baseless gossips and said that he was not contesting in LS elections.
"I m not contesting election, I don't know why media is running this story...," Sehwag tweeted.
Soon after Sehwag's tweet, axed England cricketer Kevin Pietersen re-tweeted, saying: "You should! I would vote for you.."
Other side The Congress has already nominated five sitting MPs in the Delhi while the remaining two seats are yet to be named.
