Remember runaway hit 'Life of Pi,' where a boy finds himself stranded on a boat with a tiger for company? .In the movie he successfully survives 227 days after a shipwreck while stranded on a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger .The movie earned many accolades and turned as runway hit.

Now a fisherman of China had his own Life of Pi moment when a wild Siberian tiger tried to get on his boat on the Ussuri River . Zhang Mingyu, the fisherman, found that a wild Siberian tiger tried to get on to his boat while he was fishing along a tiger reserve with another fisherman last Wednesday morning. The tiger reportedly tried to get into the boat but he prodded it with a rod to prevent it from getting on to the boat every time it tried.

After several rounds of trying to clamber on to the vessel with Zhang repeatedly pushing it off, the tiger eventually gave up and swam towards the riverbank instead.However, he managed to shoot the whole incident with his mobile phone and uploaded it on social media.
