CBI refused to investigate the death case of IAS Officer DK Ravi after Karnataka Government has imposed a deadline of 3 months to investigate the case.
DK Ravi is known to be a honest bureaucrat who fought against the powerful Sand Mafia in Kolar which is about 100 km from Bengaluru. He was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his apartment on March 16th. The role of an Woman IAS Officer in the demise of DK Ravi is said to be crucial and at the same time his family members declare they accept the suicide theory. Due to enormous pressure from the public, State Government has finally agreed to offer the case to CBI.
As CBI refused to accept any deadline, Karnataka Government on Monday removed the three-month deadline for the probe. A detailed probe by the investigation agency will reveal many facts about the sensational death case.
