By: Tupaki Desk | 4 April 2013 7:53 AM GMTAt one point in her political career, AICC chairperson Sonia Gandhi thought of quitting politics completely. It was Lok Satta president Jayaprakash Narayan who made few valuable suggestions that motivated the Gandhi lady to take up the mission of leading the country.
"When I first met Sonia, she was in disheartened state and revealed that she is going to quit politics. I suggested her not to do so by saying 'We need Congress for Nation and you have to be here for Congress. We need another 20 years to see progress in India, if at all Congress wants to sustain until then, you need to continue in the party '," revealed JP, during one of his recent interviews.
A true politician is one who does everything he/she can in the best interest of the Nation. JP has set an example by taking a clear stand on several occasions, be it the Telangana issue, no-confidence motion moved by TDP & TRS and other people's problems. Nation need more politicians like JP!
