Why this Top Director addresses Deepika as Ash?

It's necessary for Actors and Directors to develop a good bonding between them for the better of their projects. Sometimes, the same professional relationship ends up creating issues.
Acclaimed director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who worked with Aishwarya Rai for three films (Hum Dilde Chuke Sanam, Devadas and Guzaarish) seems to have a special professional bonding with the beauty queen. Until recently, no one has realised that he is unable to forget Ash and keeps chanting her name unknowingly during the shoots of his every film.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently directing the period drama 'Ram Leela' which stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. On many occasions, the director would say 'Nice shot Ash' and 'As, Let's do the next scene like this' while speaking to Deepika on the sets.
Initially, Deepika was upset with the fact that she was addresses with the name of other actress. After few days, the actress got used to it and has no problem what-so-ever now.
