Yem Maya Chesave left classical director in legal troubles

According to petitioner's advocate , Photon Kathas allegedly cheated R Jayaraman of RS Infotainment, for an amount of Rs 9crs during the remake of Kollywood hit Vinnaithaandi Varuyaaya as Ek Deewana Tha in Hindi.. The film was simultaneously made as ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ in Telugu
As per the agreement, his company and Photon Kathas had to invest 25 per cent each of the total cost of Rs 11 crore and the remaining by Fox Star, and the profit-sharing ratio was also the same.However, after the release of the movie, without his knowledge, Photon Kathas company collected the full 50 per cent share from Fox Star company and did not pay his 25 per cent share.
In this regard, The Madras High Court has directed the central crime branch to register a case against Gautham Menon and four other associates of his production house Photon Kathas. The orders came Saturday and will go into immediate effect.
Other side ,Gautam denied all the allegations made RS Infotainment stating that he directed 4 films for RS Infotainment but still Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment is forcing him to direct another film.
