By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Sep 2014 5:47 AM GMTIn a setback to CBI Chief Ranjit Sinha the Supreme Court has asked the CBI chief to explain his meetings with the corporates during probe on them in various cases. The court has also asked Sinha to file a counter-affidavit on the allegations against him.
Earlier to this AAP leader Prashanth Bhushan reached to court over Ranjit unofficial meets with 2G scam and other cases related people. On considering Bhushan please SC commented as “The averments are very serious and the CBI director can’t say that even if the averments are serious he won’t file any reply. If there is derailment of investigation, this court will have to take a strong view,”. Court directed Ranjith to file his reply by following Monday 15th September.
The series of false events alarming Ranjit Sinha removal from his position. But PMO has not yet responded on these allegations directly. SC finding alternative ways to continue 2G case fillings and its investigations at this moment.
